This guitarist for a flamenco band was raised in a flamenco family. His first instructor and fellow flamenco performer, his father, was also a teacher. He started his studies at the Cartagena Music Conservatoire in 1990, and a few years later he graduated. He pursued a Maser Degree at the University of Murcia. After that, he won other notable awards, including the first prize at the International Cante Flamenco Festival in Las Minas, the National Guitar Prize at the Flamenco Festival in Cordoba, and the First Prize at the Flamenco Festival in Calasparra.
He is currently regarded as one of Spain's South's most well-known flamenco guitarists. Recent coverage of him in the venerable Spanish newspaper "El Pais" is evidence of his current national stature. He had five solo albums released.
