How much does it cost to hire a yacht in Dubai?

Expect roughly AED 500 to 1,200 an hour for a small cruiser holding 10 to 15 guests, AED 1,500 to 3,500 an hour for a mid-size yacht holding 20 to 35, and AED 4,000 to 20,000 or more an hour for larger yachts and superyachts. Rates move with season, vessel age and what's included, so treat these as indicative and confirm the exact quote against your date.

What is the best yacht to hire in Dubai for a party?

For most parties with a DJ and a dance area, a mid-size yacht of 50 to 70 ft holding 20 to 35 people comfortably is the sweet spot, since it gives you open deck space without the cost of a superyacht. Past 40 guests with a full entertainment setup, move up to a large yacht so the deck can actually hold the production as well as the crowd.

Can you drink alcohol on a yacht charter in Dubai?

Many charter yachts can arrange a licensed beverage package or allow guests to bring their own once the boat is at sea, but policy varies by operator and by marina, and rules at the dock before departure are often more restrictive than once underway. Always confirm the specific alcohol policy for your chosen yacht and marina with the operator before the event, not on the day.

How many hours does a yacht charter last in Dubai?

Most operators charter in blocks of two to four hours as a minimum, with full day options available on request. A typical evening party books a three to four hour slot. Confirm the minimum hours, the overtime rate if the event runs long, and what time the vessel needs to be back at the marina before you sign.

Do I need a license to drive a yacht in Dubai?

No, if you're hiring a crewed yacht, which is the standard arrangement for private parties and events, the captain and crew are included and you don't need any license yourself. A boating license is only required for bareboat or self-drive rentals, which are a different type of booking and generally not suited to a party with entertainment on board.

Can I book entertainment separately from the yacht?

You can, but it usually means two vendors negotiating deck space, power supply and sound limits with nobody checking that the two plans actually fit together. Booking both through one agency means the act list, the power draw and the deck footprint are confirmed against the specific vessel before the day, which is how Bella Entertainment structures every yacht booking.

What is the best time of year to hire a yacht in Dubai?

October through April is the busiest and most popular window, with noticeably higher demand and rates on weekends. The summer months, May through September, are quieter and often cheaper, and some yachts offer air conditioned interior space for the hottest hours. Confirm current rates for your specific date, since pricing shifts with demand rather than following a fixed calendar.
